ORWAK TOM 1040 — an automatic waste bin with integrated compaction for busy public spaces. Similar in size to a conventional bin, it compacts waste at a ratio of up to 7:1.

Who is it for?
TOM 1040 is designed for restaurants, cafés, shopping centres, airports, stations, arenas and other busy locations where reducing bag changes matters.
How it works
As a user approaches, the motion sensor automatically opens TOM's shutter. Waste is deposited without touching the machine, and the shutter closes again.
An integrated sensor detects quieter periods and compacts the waste then. The status indicator shows the fill level. When full, the operator replaces the bag from the front or rear, depending on the configuration.
